Localism Act 2011 - Adoption of New Codes of Conduct - Notice is hereby given that Hemsworth Town Council adopted a new code of conduct on 26th June 2012 to meet the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 which came into force on 1st July 2012. The code deals with the conduct that is expected of members and co-opted members of the council when they are acting in their capacity. Community Centre

Hemsworth Community Centre on Bullenshaw Road, Hemsworth is run by Hemsworth Town Council's. The has full disabled access and on site car parking.


Go to the events page to see whats happening at the Community Centre. 

Within the centre there are a number of rooms to accommodate a variety of uses both for business and private hire as follows:

Function RoomLarge Function Room

An excellent venue for weddings, christenings, birthday parties,
conferences, corporate functions and many other events.
Decorated to an extremely high standard.
Stage and dance floor available.
Large adjoining catering kitchen.

The function room has a central partition to enable the room to be split into two smaller rooms.


TechnogymActivity Room

Suitable for dance, fitness classes, mum and toddler groups and many other activities.Please ring the centre to enquire about our Technogym fitness classes.
